Raised in Florida,
I began hunting deer in the 1970's. I took my first one at the age of thirteen
and have been an avid deer hunter ever since. Living in the south
with its moderate temperatures has given me the opportunity to spend a
lot of time hunting and fishing. I enjoy freshwater fishing, saltwater
fishing the flats and bays of the Apalachicola River, and offshore excursions
in the Gulf of Mexico.
I spent the first
25 years of my hunting life primarily in the State of Florida's National
Forest and river swamps . During the last ten years I have had the luxury
of hunting in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. After many years of
hunting deer with a gun and using different methods, I eventually gravitated
to the art and serenity of bow hunting.
I am a member
of the National Rifle Association, United States Sportsman's Alliance and
the Tallahassee Bow Hunters Association.
